Thoracic ultrasound (intended for pericardial, pleural and pulmonary evaluation). We recommend that all echocardiograms to fully evaluate cardiac function, acquired or congenital cardiac disease be performed by a veterinary cardiologist.

Services are normally scheduled Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Cancellation or rescheduling of an appointment will incur a fee.
We request that your staff be available to provide patient restraint.
Please obtain client consent for clipping fur, sedation, and centesis or aspiration as indicated.
We respectfully request that your client not be present during the ultrasound procedure.
12 hours' fast (when not contraindicated) and a full urinary bladder are ideal.
Please do not fast patients from water.
StatSound will invoice your hospital directly and accepts payment by check, credit card or ACH.
